Dharma Night

Thursday evenings at the Buddhist Centre are changing. In October our usual Sangha night will be finishing and a new Dharma Night will be coming into existence. We have been holding a Sangha night on a Thursday evening for many years. During that time attendance on those evenings has waxed and waned. With many engaged members of the sangha being fully committed to other classes and groups around the Centre, such as Mitra study, people cannot often find the time to come along on a Thursday evening. So we have, after much consultation and head scratching decided to use Thursday evening at the centre for a new type of class.

New Level 1 Buddhism Course - starting 24th October for six weeks

If you think you are not quite ready for the Dharma Night study then you will be pleased to know that our popular Level 1 Buddhism course is starting again on the Wednesday 24th October. It will then be held each Wednesday evening for 6 weeks. More information about this entry level course can be seen under -courses- or obtained from Kusaladana, email:

Practice Night

Please do not forget our regular Practice Night on Fridays. This continues to run and is a good way to connect with other members of the Sangha. Sharing ritual, chanting and meditation together. The practice starts at 7:30pm and finishes at 9pm

Sangha Day

Make a note in your diary. Sangha day will be on Saturday the 20th October. The morning meditation class will run as normal. Why not make a day of it. The day will centre around the needs of people coming by to look at and see what a buddhist centre is like etc. We will cater for their needs as the day progresses. More of a programe later.
