Greetings Sangha Friends
So that you can keep up with the ever growing number of events happening at the Centre, we now have two new ways of seeing what is going on.
The first is a Centre programme leaflet with all the “extra” events (other than the regular weekly courses) – it is available at the Centre so pick one up next time you are there
Or for the more IT orientated, the Centre programme is available on Google calendars. To access it you first need a Google account. With that you should be able to access “Google calendars”. When you get there you will find a box on the bottom left of your screen labeled “other calendars”, and at the bottom of that is a link marked “add” Click on that and you get the option, “add by URL”. Click on that and enter the following URL
and with a bit of luck – hey presto! This calendar should be updated regularly and so should be a current indication of what’s on
Now for a little disclaimer. Some of you may have observed that some day workshops or weekend events are more expensive than others. The reason is largely that some of those who come to do the events have other support and so only need their travel expenses. Others are trying to make a living out of the skills they impart at their workshops, so need rather more revenue from their events. I hope that explains some apparent disparities
Centre Activities
Open Weekend 9th & 10th Jan, starting both days around 10 am. Do come along to try out some of the activities on offer – Yoga, Tai Chi, Chanting, Life coaching – or just to support the day. Its always good to have some Sangha members around
AGM Thursday 21st January at 6 pm. This is a chance to hear the reports of the Officers of the Charity (Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary), and to make your views known!
