Mindfulness for Health

We have weekly 8 step recovery meetings and run Mindfulness Based Addiction Recovery courses, see below for details of both.

Eight Step Recovery Meeting - Sunday evenings

We run Eight Step Recovery meetings every Sunday evening.
Doors at 18:30 for a cuppa and the meeting will take place 18:45-20:00.
A group for those in addiction recovery and interested in using the 8 steps.

Please join us whatever addiction you are in recovery from. The meeting explores recovery through the lens of the Buddhist teachings, and Buddhism throught the len of recovery. We usually read from the book Eight Step Recovery - Using The Buddha's Teaching to Overcome Addiction.

If you are attending twelve-step meetings, this can be your expression of the 11th step and if you aren't in a twelve-step program, it can be another way to approach your recovery. This is an extra meeting to complement your recovery, whatever that looks like.

If you are a regular at the centre you can ask Caroline de Max for details, or email: ipswicheightsteorecovery@gmail.com

We also run 8 week programmes on Mindfulness Based Addiction Recovery
