VisitingIndia Order Members

Thursday 12th September

This Thursday we have a special evening for us all. We are lucky to have two Indian Order Members visiting the Ipswich Centre.

Amrutdeep, a Public Preceptor and Nagaketu a Mitra Convenor have been in the UK for the Triratna International Council meetings and are now visiting Centres around the country. Our visitors are both men have grown up in the Dalit community in Nagpur,India and work full-time for Triratna in India. That is quite a full-time job as India has 8,000 Mitras, 2,000 of whom have asked for Ordination. They also ordain 50 new Order Members each year.

Amrutdeep and Nagaketu will be telling their stories and giving us an insight into the valuable work they do in India.

Both men are supported by the Indian Dhamma Trust and you can find out more about the IDT here: www.indiandhammatrust.org
